Sylvania’s four-head VCR features mono VHS recording and playback, a 1-year, 8-event programmable recording timer with one-touch timer recording, and onscreen menu display. The 6240VE’s four heads provide finer picture quality than VCRs with just two heads, and its automatic head cleaners remove dirt and contaminants each and every time you insert or remove a cassette with the intention to preserve that clear picture.

The 6240VE means that you can freeze frame, view in slow motion, and advance frame by frame, in addition to will provide you with two quick-search speeds (5x and 15x) when view tapes recorded in SLP (super long play) mode. Digital tracking means that you can search for a specific point on the tape either by time or index, with a real-time onscreen counter. The VCR will also be programmed and customized through onscreen menus, which will also be displayed in English, Spanish, or French. Its 181-channel, direct-get admission to tuner can accommodate up to 125 cable channels and offers the convenience of automatic channel programming.
