5-Axis Image Stabilization: This new Sony Alpha a7II is the first of it’s kind to offer a 5-Axis Image Stabilization technology. The amazing, new 5-axis image stabilization system allows for the very best focused shot imaginable by compensating for five several types of camera shake all the way through handheld shooting of still images and movies. What this new technology does is compensate for commonly experienced pitch and yaw shake at long focal lengths. It also compensates for X and Y-axis shift shake at high magnification and for roll shake on the Z axis all the way through long exposures which is a smart added-on feature because most in-lens systems for interchangeable-lens cameras cannot compensate for roll shake.
