The Panasonic SL-SX280 portable CD player has been designed to virtually do away with skipping under normal listening conditions. It has a thin, lightweight traverse mechanism to minimize the influence of outdoor vibrations and a floating rubber construction to help absorb vibrations. Panasonic’s Digital Servo system assures precise focus servo and tracking servo operation for even more resistance to vibrations. On the other hand, if a shock does occur, the 40-second backup memory will kick in, and your music will continue to play as if nothing happened.
