Toggles bear the brunt of the force required to water-proof your strobe and might wear out after a couple of years of opening and closing. To cut back this strain, we suggest detaching your battery pack from the strobe front prior to storing thestrobe for extended periods of time. A 1/4″ nut driver is required for the replacement of a battery pack toggle (not included). However, you’re at all times welcome to go back the battery pack for essential service and testing. The black toggle is featured on NiMH and NiCad battery packs.
