HP Mini 311 Features

Weighing in at just 3.22 pounds, the HP Mini 311-1037NR features a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and 2 GB of memory. A 160GB hard drive provides ample storage space, and Windows 7 Home Premium provides the latest and greatest PC experience, with improved navigation, faster and easier application use, and more.

The 11.6-inch HD LED BrightView widescreen display provides brilliant HD video with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, making videos or browsing the web look extra-sharp. NVIDIA ION graphics help get the most out of the small, low-powered laptop, and both HDMI and VGA video outputs are provided, for connecting to external monitors or HDTVs. Integrated VGA webcam and microphone let you video chat with family and friends, and music fans will appreciate the Altec Lansing speakers.

The 311’s 5-in-1 integrated digital media reader lets you access SD and MMC cards, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro storage, and xD Picture cards. Three USB ports are included, and of course the Ethernet port for wired networking.

Despite this netbook’s ultra-portable form factor, the keyboard is if truth be told 92% full-size, so it’s not a challenge to type. A touch pad with dedicated vertical scrolling is also included for quick navigation.

Get global data coverage in more than 180 international destinations, more than 70 of which let you connect at 3G speed. This Gobi-enabled netbook allows you to connect to both CDMA200 EV-DO and UMTS HSPA networks on a single platform.

Wi-Fi
Connect to the Web the usage of your preferred local wireless networks–coffee shops, your home, etc. The 311 supports 802.11 b, g and n standards.

Ethernet
Plug directly into your local network the usage of an Ethernet cable and connection. This is handy for those hotels that haven’t slightly caught up.

Bluetooth
Transfer photos from Bluetooth-enabled cameras, listen to music wirelessly, copy files and more, all without the pesky cables.
