This new Hovercam will be replacing the T3 model and somewhat a couple of enhancements have been made. This unobtrusive size allows it to sit down out of the way when not in use. It may also be very easily stored or transported and set up anywhere you wish to have it. Autofocus (T3 hovercam is manual focus) Quick access to controls – The Solo 5 has quick access buttons in its base, so you don’t all the time have to go back to the computer for basic controls. Flip-Up Camera – The Solo 5’s camera can flip up, allowing it to be used as a web cam. The T3’s camera only points straight down. Resolution – The Solo 5 has a 5 MP camera at the same time as the T3 has a 3 MP camera. On account of that, the Solo 5 can reach image resolutions up to 2592 x 1944, much higher than the 1920 x 1600 the T3 can produce. This results in crystal clear, detailed scans and video. Larger Scan Size – The default scan size on the Solo 5 is A3, but it also scans in other sizes like A4, Letter, and Legal. The T3 has a smaller scan size of 9 x 12 inches
