The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor uses sonar to determine distance to an object like bats do.Â
It offers excellent non-contact range detection with high accuracy and stable readings in an easy-to-use package.Â
From 2cm to 500 cm or 1″ to 13 feet.Â
It operation is not affected by sunlight or black material like Sharp rangefinders are (although acoustically soft materials like cloth can be difficult to detect).Â
It comes complete with ultrasonic transmitter and receiver module.
Features
· Power Supply :+5V DC
· Quiescent Current : <2mA
· Working Current: 15mA
· Effectual Angle: <15°
· Ranging Distance : 2cm – 500 cm/1″ – 13ft
· Resolution : 0.3 cm
· Measuring Angle: 30 degree
· Trigger Input Pulse width: 10uS
· Dimension: 45mm x 20mm x 15mm
Pins
· VCC: +5VDC
· Trig : Trigger (INPUT)
· Echo: Echo (OUTPUT)
· GND: GND
NOTE: If the HC-SR04 does not receive an echo then the output never goes low. Devantec and Parallax sensors time out after 36ms and I think 28ms respectively. If you use Pulsin as above then with no return echo the program will hang for 1 second which is the default timeout for Pulsin. You need to use the timeout parameter.
HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor Distance Module: using IO trigger for at least 10us high level signal.
HC-SR04 Test Distance : high level time velocity of sound (340M/S) /2.
HC-SR04 Power Supply : 5V DC; Quiescent Current : <2mA,; Effectual Angle: <15° ; Detection Distance : 2cm~500 cm; Resolution : 0.3 cm.
HC-SR04 Arduino ultrasonic sensor can send eight 40 kHz and detect whether there is any pulse signal back.If it back, a high level signal will be outputed by IO, and the duration of the signal is the time from sending ultrasonic to returning.
Package Content: 5pcs HC-SR04+Dupont wire.
