The Detex EAX-500 is designed for applications that require a battery-powered alarm on secured doors. The alarm, with approximately 100dB, will sound when any individual attempts an unauthorized exit. The redesigned shape and smaller size of the EAX-500 makes it the selection for fast and simple installations on emergency exit and restricted doors.
Low cost, self-contained door alarm with piezo horn that sounds to warn unauthorized use of a door or gate
Patented plastic template lets in for foolproof alignment of internal magnetic door contact and accurate installation
Intelligent circuit senses the external magnet location robotically and sets the proper door handing
Patented cam assembly robotically adjusts for various sizes of cylinders without use of spacers
Extended bypass (now a normal feature) lets in alarm to stay bypassed when door is open and robotically rearm upon door closing
