Attached OTG Cable Description:
The Android micro USB OTG cable supports phones with OTG function to charge other phones and exchange data, has high practicability and functionality. Current flows from silver terminal to gold terminal(insert silver terminal to phone with OTG function and enough power, gold terminal to phone which needs to get charged).
If your phone has OTG function and connects to other device without OTG function via the OTG cable, your phone will charge the device first; and if the device has memory, your phone will take it as a removable storage medium and read its memory.
Read the connected device’s memory: After connection, “USB storage device is in use” will be shown on your phone’s screen; clicking the new hardware found on drop-down menu will enter into file management. The files in connected device will also be shown on your phone, you can listen music, watch video, exchange data or pictures, etc.
Disconnect the OTG connection safely: open your phone’s setting and find the “storage”, SD card and OTG USB disk will be shown there. Choosing “uninstall SD card” under OTG USB disk will uninstall the OTG device safely.
